PvPvE Extraction FPS “A Twisted Path To Renown” Now In Early Access, Many Reviews Say It Is "Too Early"
Travel back to America’s Wild West.
Today, fans of the Western genre can hop into the Wild West in Game Labs’ new shooter “A Twisted Path to Renown”. The PvPvE extraction FPS is set in 1899 and is designed with that in mind, requiring players to use survival mechanics like hunger, thirst, and medicine. They’ll also be crafting and trading, gathering raw materials, and more.
Of course, they’ll have to survive each other as well. For that, they’re equipped with weapons modeled on the ones of that time, using realistic ammunition ballistics and muzzle velocity. The game also reflects the different conflicts of the time, between the military, natives, ranchers, bandits, and more.
Players can purchase the early access version of the game on Steam for $27. Do be aware that as of now, the game only has about 100 reviews, but the overall score is “very negative”. Not all of the reviews are bad, and it seems like the positive ones come from players who had access to the game prior to early access, who state that the developers are responsive to player feedback. This might be one of those things where you’ll want to give it some time and see what happens before dropping any cash.
