Gaijin’s Post-Apocalyptic Age Of Water Expands Its Horizons To Console On The Same Day As The PC Early Access
And controller support is coming to PC.
It’s been a while since we’ve mentioned Age of Water, the post-apocalyptic MMORPG from Gaijin and developer Three Whales Studio. The last time we covered it on the site was back in June of ‘23 when they announced early access/open beta on Steam. It seems like that early access might have become just an open beta after all, though.
According to the latest press release, the game is entering Steam Early Access on April 18, and that’s not all. The game will also be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S the same day. Moreover, the PC version will offer full controller support.
If this is your first time hearing about this game, Age of Water is what would happen if Waterworld were an MMO instead of an expensively made movie. Players take on the role of a captain piloting their boat through a world made of nothing but water. Survive storms and fight other players, capturing their vessels. Extract materials from the bottom of the ocean. Basically, live your wettest post-apocalyptic life.
