Funcom’s Co-Op Roguelite Party Game Conan Chop Chop Launches On PC And Consoles
Sometimes April Fools’ jokes get away from you.
If you’ve been waiting on Funcom’s latest Conan game – or are just a fan of Conan, cartoon-y games, rougelites, or all of the above – then today is a good day for you. The game that began life as an April Fools’ joke, Conan Chop Chop, is now available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
Players can pick up the game on any of the platforms mentioned above for $15. If you happen to be picking it up on Steam or Nintendo Switch and aren’t 100% sure it’s gonna be your thing, you’re the lucky ones. As it turns out, Funcom is offering a free demo of the game on both those platforms. (Sorry Xbox and PlayStation peeps.) Funcom also assures everyone that the game is completely family-friendly despite its source material, so it’s rated ESRB E and PEGI 7+.
On an additional note, Funcom announced that a portion of proceeds from Conan Chop Chop sales will be donated to the Red Cross to support their humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. They’ve pledged $100,000 USD and encourage others to do what they can.
