Friday The 13th Resurrected Brings The Asymmetrical Horror Game Back For Free As A Mod
It's time to kill some promiscuous teens.
Friday the 13th is rising from the grave like its central slasher villain Jason Vorhees. Being pulled from Steam late last year amid a trademark dispute, it looked like it was the end for the game...and it kind of was, at least the official version. Alas, Jason is never truly dead, and this horror game will live on through a fan project mod.
A group of fans are bringing back Friday the 13th: The Game with the free modded build "Resurrected," which will include Jason X content and a whole lot more: https://t.co/qeZzT7ctZw

The release date for Friday the 13th Resurrected, as it has been dubbed, will be announced on April 15th. The best part is that it will be completely free-to-play. Dedicated multiplayer servers will be available to bring the game back to life. The fan team is adding quite a bit of content to the game including Jason X and Jason from Freddy vs. Jason.
The original Friday the 13th game was quite popular on Steam, so here's hoping this fan project can hold on to that magic when bringing the game back to life. Check out the shiny new trailer for Friday the 13th Resurrected below.
The team's also been answering a LOT of questions on their X (formerly Twitter), so if you have a questions, check their replies. It's likely the team has already answered your question...like the one you're thinking about right now regarding gaming consoles!
