Free-To-Play Battle Royale Shooter Ring Of Elysium Is Shutting Down
You can't even download the game anymore.
Another one bites the dust.
The free-to-play battle royale shooter Ring of Elysium is set to be terminated on December 1. Players will have access to the game and their in-game items until then. As of now though, payments for in-game purchases and downloads of the game are disabled.
Regarding data retention, the company may retain personal data for a period after the termination date, primarily to meet legal obligations and respond to potential data subject requests. Additionally, a 40-day data retention period after the termination date is set to address potential data-related requests from players. The company will be unable to fulfill data subject requests related to data that is no longer retained.
Players can reach out regarding personal data concerns, and the developers at Tencent Games expressed gratitude for the support received when it came to Ring of Elysium.
