Free-To-Play FPS Line Of Sight Drops Big Winter Update, Announces 2018 Esports Plans
Six months after launch, Line of Sight has received what its developers are saying is the game's biggest update of the year and, obviously, thus far. The update adds a selection of new weapons and gear -- some of which is holiday themed. (You, too, can wear Santa's hat and Rudolph's nose while trying to stay camouflaged.) The update also contains new female skins.
A new game mode titled "Crystal Boost" has been added. In this mode players try to collect randomly generated crystals, earning points for each crystal and strengthening their abilities. Crystal spawns are on a fixed timer and each player is limited on the amount they can carry. To make things even more challenging, players who are killed will drop half their collected crystals.
In addition to the winter update, the developers have also released information on the upcoming 2018 ESL season. Players can sign up for the 5v5 ESL ladder race now and compete for prizes including everything from exclusive skins to cash. Those wanting to get in on the action can find full details on the Line of Sight Steam page.
