Fragpunk Update Sees New Lizardman Lancer Dex Taking On A New Deathmatch Map
A new character, map, and mode are being added.
Tomorrow, Bad Guitar Studio will be bringing its F2P shooter, Fragpunk, down for a few hours to implement the shooter’s latest update. The downtime is expected to be around 3 hours, after which players will be able to enjoy new content like the new Lancer and a new Deathmatch map.
The Lancer, Dex, is a lizardman sage with the ability to clone himself and have the clone fight instead. If the clone dies, Dex can return to the fight. In addition, he also has an ability that allows him to confuse other players.
A new deathmatch map will be introduced as well. Kepler Station – “Aesir” is a research facility located next to “Yggdrasil”. The map allows for several modes: Random, Kill Confirmed, Deck Deathmatch, Melee Deathmatch, Sniper Deathmatch, and so forth.
While not part of tomorrow’s update, Bad Guitar also announced that a new limited-time mode will drop every two weeks beginning May 9. The first will be a mode from the original Arcade Rotation Mode titled “Blitz Ballet”. Details on the rest of the schedule can be found on the Fragpunk site.
