Fractured Space Celebrates Six-Month Anniversary With New Ships And Crew
After six months in early access on Steam, Edge Case Games' outer-space combat game Fractured Space is throwing a celebratory bash and everyone's invited! To commemorate the event, Edge Case is adding two new ships and 11 new crew members, as well as issuing a video highlighting the evolution of the game from its blocky beginnings to its current state.
The two new ships are the mile-long Zarek Carrier, a massive capital ship with the capability to house and launch several wings of fighters and bombers to do its dirty work for it; and the Zarek Infiltrator, a stealthy ship that strikes hard and fast with its Ion Blast attack and then disrupts enemy sensors, allowing it to make its escape.
The new crew members include YouTube star The Mighty Jingles, a ship captain who boosts hull defense, capture rate, and fire rate of your vessel, as well as providing personal commentary. And, years of Star Wars to the contrary, just because he's British doesn't mean that he's evil.
