Fractured In Alterac Valley Adds 135 New Cards To Hearthstone And Brings Back Hero Cards
The update is available today.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
Hearthstone’s Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion is now available to players adding a generous number of new cards and new mechanics. The new cards introduce the new “Honorable Kill” keyword, which grants cards containing it a bonus effect when dealing exact lethal damage. It also brings back hero cards with a Legendary Hero card for all ten classes. These cards change the hero for the duration of the game, offer players powerful battle cries, and add new hero powers. Another new mechanic is Objectives; new spell cards with effects that last for three turns.
If you’re planning on playing Fractured in Alterac Valley, you’re going to want to choose a faction. Doing so will immediately earn you a golden copy of the faction’s Legendary leader card. Don’t worry, if you’re hoping for a golden version of the opposing faction, that can still be earned through regular play.
