Fortnite Will Kick Off Chapter 3 Finale "Fracture" Event On December 3, XP Events Planned Before Release
An otherworldly event is coming to the Island soon.
On December 3, Fortnite will kick off a "one-time-only" in-game event called “Fracture” for its Chapter 3 finale. Fracture will start at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time with some flexibility for players arriving early or late to the otherworldly social event.
Players can queue up for the Fracture playlist in parties of up to four players or go solo. The queue will open 30 minutes before its start time. If players are a bit late to the event, they can join in progress until 4:40 p.m. Eastern Time. Also, to celebrate the occasion, players that log into Fornite between December 2 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time to December 4 at 2:45 a.m. will receive the Toasty Roast Emote.
Fracture is lining up to be another island-ending level of craziness seen in past finales, so now’s the time to finish any loose ends before the day arrives. That includes unlocking all the rewards you may want from the Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass, completing Ayida’s Level Up Quest Pack that offers exclusive items before it expires on December 2, and more. In addition, players with Chrome Punk Goals will not have their progress reset and can continue where they left off after Chapter 3 ends.
Before Fracture rolls around, players can enjoy two weekly events for in-game prizes. “Avian Ambush Week” begins today and ends November 29. The event will multiply the number of loot-holding chickens, offering players XP and Level Up Tokens for finishing chicken-themed quests. “Bargain Bin Week” kicks off on November 29 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time and runs until December 3. For a limited-time, character goods and services will see significant discounts during the event and players can also earn XP and Level Up Tokens from quests.
