Fortnite Still Rising, Up To $296 Million In April
In case you haven't heard, Fortnite: Battle Royale is a pretty big deal. Don't just take our word for it, take SuperData's, which today released its brief on the state of the worldwide gaming market in April.
According to SuperData, FNBR brought in $296 million in the month across all platforms, which helped it break the record for additional content revenue for a console game it set in March. It, along with God of War, gave console gaming a whopping 44% boost over last month's totals.
The rest of the lists are pretty much what you'd expect. League of Legends is #1 on PC, while Tencent's MOBA Honour of Kings is tops on mobile. Hearthstone and World of Tanks check in at #7 and #8 on the PC list, just ahead of that "other" battle royale game.
