Surprising No One, Fortnite May Be Keeping The "No Building" Mode
At least that’s what the dataminers are saying.
You know that "temporary" removal of building from the main mode of Fortnite? Yeah. It looks like that may continue to be a thing. According to a post on Eurogamer, a few data miners have found assets indicating that the "no building" mode may be sticking around for some time. One of the data miners in question, Hypex, discovered loading screen tips with the text, "In mode with building enabled", added to them.
This likely means that players are enjoying the mode enough for it to be turned into a permanent thing. In fact, it’s been popular enough that players have reported server queues that last for over an hour. It’s an interesting outcome when you consider the fact that building has been a big part of the game since...well, forever. Still, it's apparently great news for players, and based on the uncovered tooltips, it may not apply to everything, so it could end up being a really nice blend of options for all involved.
