Fortnite Collaboration With Popular Anime Jujutsu Kaisen Now Live Via V25.30 Update
Players must now use utilized cursed energy to stay on top in Battle Royale Island.
“You should use your strength to help others in Fortnite,” said the grandfather of Jujutsu Kaisen protagonist’s Yuji Itadori.
The V25.30 update for the battle royale, “Break the Curse!", introduces a limited-time event featuring elements from the popular anime series. Players can use cursed energy in the game to complete quests, earning cosmetic rewards and leveling up. Destroying Cursed Llamas grants cursed techniques like Straw Doll Technique and Hollow Technique for combat advantages.
There's also an upgraded Premium Reward Track available for purchase, offering additional rewards like the Yuji Itadori Outfit. Players can participate in the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup tournament on August 11 too, with various rewards for top performers. New outfits for Jujutsu High characters Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo are available as well in the Item Shop. And the update includes bug fixes and gameplay enhancements.
Moreover, on the "Save the World" side of things, this patch introduces the Raptor Wrangler questline, allowing players to ride raptors and perform high jumps. Completing the questline grants the new hero Prickly Patroller Ramirez and a weapon from the Primal weapon set. The update also adds a Primal Shotgun, Primal Pistol, Primal SMG, and Primal Rifle to the Event Store rotation. Primal weapons have unique perks, such as dealing bonus damage to high-health targets and activating Frenzy upon specific conditions.
Furthermore, the "Hit the Road" questline continues, with players escorting Cloaked Star and Quinn in different weekly quests to earn rewards. The weekly store introduces Redline Ramirez, offering increased sniper damage and fire rate, and Tactical Assault Sledgehammer, boosting critical damage for assault rifles and SMGs. The Surround Pound hammer with unique abilities is available too.
