Fortnite Chapter 2 Will Come To An End In The Aptly Titled “The End” Finale Event
Gather your friends and get ready to face the Cube Queen in this one-time event.
It’s almost time to wrap things up in Fortnite’s Chapter 2. The Convergence is complete and the Cube Queen is ready to complete her plan, but there’s still time to stop her and everything will come to a head on December 4 at 4 PM Eastern when players have one chance – and only one chance – to defeat the Cube Queen and save the island.
The in-game event, titled “The End” is one of Fortnite’s one-and-done affairs, meaning that if you miss it, you miss it and you’ll just have to watch videos from someone who was there. With that in mind, Epic encourages players to plan ahead. Gather up to 15 other players to queue with and log in up to 30 minutes prior to be sure you don’t miss a thing.
Since “The End” is the official end of Season 2, there may be some things you’ll want to get out of the way if you haven’t already because if you don’t the associated rewards will be gone. That includes things like completing the Cube Queen’s Page quests, completing collections to unlock styles, and trading in any Battle Stars you may have hanging around for some rewards.
If you feel like you’re not leveled up enough to take part in this event, Epic has you covered there. Beginning November 26, a power leveling event will be available. The event lasts until November 29 so you should be good to go at the end of it, as long as you take advantage.
