Fortnite Is Kicking Off It's Party Royale With A Party
Things are about to get a lot more chill in Fortnite. Or, well, at least there will be a great deal less shooting in the new Party Royale game mode when it launches on Friday. That doesn't mean there won't be any action, though. In fact, Epic plans to kick off the the mode with an in-game party, complete with entertainment. When the mode releases Friday at 9PM Eastern, it will be with back-to-back-to-back live performances by musicians Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5.
The concert will take place on Forntite's main stage and can be accessed by all players provided they're there before it ends. So don't worry about getting locked out if you can't make it in exactly at 9. For those that do miss it, the concert will be rebroadcast on May 9 at 2 pm Eastern.
Of course, you don't have to stay at the main stage for the entire concert either. There will be other things to do if you get bored, like skydiving, boat races, an more.
In addition to the concert, Epic is also celebrating the release of the Party Royale mode with a special goodie. All you have to do is log into the game between Friday, May 8 at 6PM Eastern and Monday, May 11 at 10 AM Eastern to receive a set of music-reactive Neon Wings.
