For Palworld's First Anniversary, Pocketpair Reveals Full Co-Op Crossplay Plans, World Transfer For Pals, And More In New Roadmap
No dates for anything yet, but hopefully it won't be too long for some of these planned additions.
Yes, Pocketpair is still in the middle of a lawsuit with Nintendo. However, that isn't about to stop the creature-catching game's creators from celebrating Palworld's first anniversary or revealing what they have planned for 2025 via a new roadmap.
While it's kind of weird to me to celebrate an anniversary based on an early access release date and not a full launch date, I guess that's the world we live in now.
As for the plans going forward, the roadmap leads off with probably the single most requested feature from players: Co-Op Crossplay. None of this has any dates associated to it yet, but hopefully some of these items won't be too far away. Also planned for the game's second year is the ability to transfer Pals across Worlds, some ending scenario content including final bosses, new collaborations (like the Terraria one), and multiple improvements to many aspects of the game.
The latest expansion, Feybreak, has already received a new update last week to fix some balance issues, so expect a few more of those over the coming month or two.
It should be a good year for Palworld fans...well, lawsuit pending, of course.
As part of the anniversary, the team is polling players to see who their favorite Pal is and you can go vote right now.
