Fntastic Won't "Hold A Grudge" Against Those Who "Didn't Believe In Them" When The Day Before Launches
They include a note to the people who “didn’t believe” in them.
Unless it ends up being delayed again, Fntastic’s The Day Before will finally enter early access this month. When it does, the zombie-survival game will be available on Steam and cost would-be players $39. Those who wait until the full launch will have to drop an additional $10 to begin playing. Those who already purchased the game through EA don’t have to worry about it.
Before things get rolling, it seems that Fntastic has a message for everyone. Today they dropped a tweet filled with “Revelations from Fntastic”. In general, the points made are more "thank yous and well wishes" to the people who believed in them, plan on streaming their game, have volunteered at some point, etc.
There’s also a rather large bullet point dedicated to those who “didn’t believe” that begins with “We made this game for you, too”. It goes on to say that the team doesn’t “hold a grudge” and that they want to note a few things. These things include apologizing for not doing “the best marketing”, asking to not be accused of scamming as they “didn’t take a penny from anyone”, asking not to be accused of “asset flip”, and requesting that their work not be underestimated.
The section ends with, “We are like you; we worked hard. And we’re incredibly happy that our game will finally see the light of day for everyone to explore.” As for the full note it ends with a holiday wish: “we wish joy and happiness to your family! We love everyone!”
