First-Person Puzzler Superliminal Now Has A Multiplayer “Battle Royale” Mode, But May Not Be Added Permanently
Apparently it’s considered “group therapy”.

If you’ve ever wondered if every game currently being developed will eventually have a battle royale mode, I think we can now confidently say that, yeah…they probably will. After all, we now have a battle royale mode in Pillow Castle Games’ puzzle game, Superliminal.
If you’re not familiar with Superliminal, it’s a puzzle game that takes place in a lucid dream. Players need to complete puzzles to find the exits. As they go on, players unravel the truth of the game…stuff about reality and expectations and all that.
With the introduction of the new mode, players must now compete with each other to find their way. The mode pits 12 players against each other in a series of randomly generated rooms. In each of the rooms players need to deal with the weird obstacles in their way…all while being watched by Standard Orientation Protocol, (We assume they’re judging you.).
Oh…and apparently there are ducks and you need to watch out for them? I’m not sure what that means. It’s in the press release.
Superliminal is usually available via Steam for $20, but today’s it’s first year anniversary. In celebration of the big day, they’re offering a 50% discount, so if this weirdness is something you’re up for, you may want to grab it.
