Welcome to Dota 2’s The International 2024!
Valve has unveiled its six direct invites, acknowledging teams' performances across various tournaments leading up to the MOBA's upcoming event. The teams are: Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, and BetBoom Team. For those teams still vying for a spot, there’s still a chance through the Regional Qualifiers.
The Regional Qualifiers will determine the remaining ten slots for The International 2024, with teams from different regions battling it out for the opportunity. These are the dates: June 9 to 13 for China and North America, June 14 to 18 for Eastern Europe and South America, and June 19 to 23 for Southeast Asia and Western Europe. Also, Open Qualifiers are on June 3.
Then, the competition culmination happens in Copenhagen — where sixteen teams will duke it out for all the glory. The Group Stage kicks off on September 4, followed by the Playoffs running until September 10. Finally, the main event unfolds at Copenhagen's Royal Arena — with the top eight teams taking the stage from September 13 to 15. Ticket sales start June 10.
