Find Out All About Final Fantasy XIV’s 6.4 Patch In The Upcoming Live Letter
Get ready for Yoshi-P to let us know what’s next.
As Final Fantasy XIV players keep working their way through the Loporrit quests, the latest deep dungeon, and collecting all those relics – both weapons and tools – the Final Fantasy XIV devs are ready to fill us in on what’s going to happen in the MMORPG’s next patch, 6.4. Today, they announced the next Letter from the Producer Live stream, which will take place on March 31. That’s two weeks from now, and yes, you’ll want to be up early, particularly if you’re on Pacific time. You’re looking at 4:00 am.
Just like previous streams, this one will be in Japanese, with the slides having both Japanese and English text. That means you’ll probably want someone to translate it for you if you’re watching live. I’d suggest the Final Fantasy XIV Discord channel. That’s what we use, or you can just sleep in and read our post when it goes up later.
As for what you can expect… well… of course, the announcement doesn’t say. The best guess is we’re probably looking at information on the next batch of story content – including a dungeon and trial, the new Pandaemonium raid tier, and… maybe another Variant Dungeon? It’s possible there’ll be new island content as well. It’s a sure bet not everything will be covered in this stream, however, as this will only be Part 1.
To watch the stream live, players can go to the Final Fantasy XIV YouTube, Twitch, and Niconico channels.
