Finally, The PlayStation 5 Path Of Exile Client Is Available
Now you don’t have to make due with the PS4 client.
As of today, the PlayStation 5 Path of Exile client is available for download. While the action RPG game was already available on the PS5, players had to use the PS4 client. That means the client wasn’t optimized to the current-gen console, but this one is.
It’s worth noting that the new client is completely separate from the PS4 one and is not an upgrade. Therefore the full client will need to be downloaded. Also, Supporter Packs are not available at this time, but are expected within a week. Until that time, players can still purchase the supporter packs via the PS4 client. Players could also just wait a bit so they don’t have to mess with two clients.
If you’ve been waiting for this to drop, now’s your time. Get downloading and have fun with your shiny new client.
