Final Fantasy XIV’s Upcoming Make It Rain Campaign Event Rewards Players With Their Own Godbert Minion
Don’t worry. He’s wearing clothes.
Okay, Gold Saucer junkies. This one’s for you. The Make it Rain Campaign is back, and you know what that means – increased MPG. It also means you’ll be able to pick up a special reward for taking on a special mission given to you by Kipih Jakkya in Ul’dah.
No, we don’t know what the quest entails. Although, it will probably take you directly to the Gold Saucer. That said, we can tell you that if you’re new to Final Fantasy XIV, you’ll want to be sure you’ve completed the Level 15 Envoy quest – whichever one you need based on the city you started out in.
We also know that as a reward for taking on and completing whatever it is Kipih has in store for you, you’ll be rewarded with a Wind-up Godbert minion, in all his “professional attire” glory. (That means he’s not running around nearly nude.)
For the duration of the event, MGP rewarded in the MMORPG's Gold Saucer will be increased by 50%. In addition, certain items will be available to purchase at a discount. No. None of them are the MPG sink mounts. Sorry.
