Final Fantasy XIV Special Site Update Offers Some Peeks At What’s To Come Next Week
The next adventure is about to begin.
The second half of Final Fantasy XIV’s Patch 6.55 arrives next Tuesday bringing with it the start of our next journey. We’ll be meeting the daughter of the ruler of Tural for the first time and, since our business with the Thirteenth is wrapped up, we might as well hear her out.
Of course, we still have some other things that will need wrapping up as well this patch, things like Hildibrand’s latest adventure and checking in with all the tribes we’ve helped out recently – all things that are teased by the latest update to the special site.
New images have been shared on the MMORPG's site for the Growing Light Part 2 storyline. One of them is Krile’s new-ish look for her new job as a Pictomancer. Looks like we’ll be watching her do it for a while before we take it up ourselves.
Another update is the tease for the next Trial – The Gilded Araya. Not much is said about this trial, other than the fact that we’ll be facing an Asura who has been “called to Thavnair by mortal avarice” and that she enjoys a good fight. Looks like we’re past the point of seeking out deities to fight, they just come to us now.
Next, we have some images from the next part of Hilidbrand’s adventure. Honestly, it just looks like he’s gotten us into more trouble. Maybe Brandihild will have a good solution. They really need to keep that guy around for the next time.
Speaking of Hildibrand, the next step in the Manderville weapons is ready as well. Provided everyone can continue to get along.
If you’ve completed all of the Endwalker Tribal quests, then you’re finally going to get to see what happens when you bring all three tribes together. I’m betting on some sort of interstellar delivery service...or maybe the Arkasodara will be the suppliers for the Omicrons’ bar at the end of the universe. Maybe we’re turning Mare Lamentorium and Ultima Thul into tourist destinations.
Oh yes, and while there’s no shiny new image for it, Tataru’s Grand Endeavor continues as well. Honestly, there’s a lot to do for those of us who like busy work.
Also, just a reminder, Yoshi-P stated during the Keynote at the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest in Tokyo that there will be a 24-hour downtime before Patch 6.55 drops, so plan accordingly.
