FFXIV’s Patch 6.4 Special Site Update And "No Major Changes" To Relic Weapon Process According To New Yoshi-P Interview
Guess everyone’s gotta go there some time.

As of today, new content is available on the Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4 Special Site. Of course, the page isn’t fully filled out. They’ll be dropping stuff over the coming weeks. However, there are some interesting things there to look at. If the MSQ section is anything to go by, it seems the Warrior of Light and friends will be doing a lot more traveling in the MMORPG. They kind of have to since Cagnazzo and Rubicante destroyed the one surefire way to access the Thirteenth. That’s probably why Y’shtola and at least one Arkasodara alchemist are chilling on the moon. (I would have thought a post-tribe quest thing would have been what brought the tribe there. But hey…)
Patch 6.4 once again takes us to Pandaemonium, but we were all kind of expecting that. Of course, this is our last trip. We’ll also be heading north of Sharlayan and fighting some big bears, and it’s time to take on the unreal version of Containment Bay Z1T9. Speaking of refreshed older content, the site also lists the final dungeons that will be added to Duty Support – complete with backup from the friends we made during Stormblood.
In additional news, for those of us playing on the North American servers, it seems a bit of maintenance is on the menu. On May 9, Square Enix will be bringing the NA Data Center down for about 10 hours. That’s 12:00 am to 10:00 am Pacific time. Better they knock it out now than have to deal with it when the content patch hits.
Finally, Dengeki Online interviewed Yoshi-P recently and one of the questions focused on the next step of the Manderville Relic questline. If you were hoping for something a bit more than just another tomestone farm, you may be disappointed. While Yoshi-P wouldn't spill all the beans, he did say that there would be "no major change" in the final step. Some players are taking this as a big disappointment.
The rest of the interview is well worth the read so check it out.
