Final Fantasy XIV’s Patch 6.35 Adds Plenty Of Long-Term Goal Projects For Players Today
The busy-work has arrived.
Today, Square Enix dropped the latest patch for Final Fantasy XIV, adding all kinds of long-term projects for players to work on in the MMORPG. There’s the new Lopporit tribe quest for crafters, where they’ll help the moon buns figure out what to do now that all the guests they expected from the Source are no longer coming. You’re going to do what any sensible person would do and help them build a club. Of course, there are rewards to be had. We know one is the Loporrit ear emote. And, looking at the patch notes, the bunny robot in the picture seems like it couldn’t come from anywhere but Bestways.
Crafters also have a new line of shiny tools to collect – this time heading to the Crystarium to get it done. There’s a lot of work ahead for those who want the splendid tools – and a lot of need for crafter scripts. This will function like the Skysteel tools did, with crafters and gatherers needing to acquire a LOT of materials in order to level their tool up.
Speaking of tool upgrades – the first glow-y stage of the Manderville weapons is here. It also requires players to spend their Astronomy tomes to get material to trade in for the weapon. The material is different, but the price and amount required to trade in remain the same. It’s also worth noting that to unlock this stage, players will need to complete the Manderville story quests that dropped today as well.
Finally...in the keeping players busy for a while category...we have the new deep dungeon, Eureka Orthos. Here players will get to find out more about Allag, specifically a special laboratory that’s been sitting under the Crystal Tower all this time. Of course, the new dungeon will offer new rewards as well. There are several Allagan-looking things listed in the patch notes – from barding, to a minion, to a parasol. And, yes, there are new Aetherpool weapons.
The patch also adds new housing items, orchestrion rolls, Gold Saucer items, hairstyles, and more. It also includes various changes that can be read about in the patch notes.
