Final Fantasy XIV Is Making An Appearance At Gamescom, And There's A New Shirt Up For Grabs
Players can even win an “I Beat Valigarmanda” t-shirt.
Dawntrail has been out for a bit now in Final Fantasy XIV, so it’s unlikely there will be any big reveals, but that’s not stopping the XIV team from traveling to Gamescom in Germany to promote the MMORPG. The team will host a booth from Wednesday, August 21 to Sunday, August 25.
During the convention, players can visit Booth B-054 in Hall 9.1. While there they can try their hand at beating Valigarmanda in the Battle Challenge and earn an “I Beat” t-shirt. You can also do a Snowcloak dungeon run.
Players will also have the opportunity to meet some of the Final Fantasy XIV team and even join Yoshi-P on stage in battle content. Slots for the Yoshi-P content are limited, so players will need to sign up at the info counter. Yes, there will be photo spots and a live stream.
While Gamescom is still a month away, there are other, more timely things the XIV team wants players to know about. As you may know, Dawntrail made significant changes to player privacy, beefing up the black and mute lists. It also made adjustments to your privacy on the Lodestone. Today, the dev team pushed a blog post detailing how to take advantage of that.
