Final Fantasy XIV Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary With Special Messages From Notable Figures
A new message will drop every day.
As we keep getting closer and closer to the tenth anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s launch, Square Enix keeps finding ways to celebrate. Most recently, the developer announced that it will be sharing celebratory messages from “notable figures” every day.
The first message, from the creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, Hironobu Sakaguchi, is available to watch now. It’s a short congratulatory message talking about how the MMORPG is part of his daily routine. He adds it’s like celebrating the tenth birthday of his own child or a wedding anniversary, and offered a toast. He also did not play around with downing the champagne.
As noted, this is the first of several messages, so those wanting to see more will need to keep an eye on the Lodestone.
