Final Fantasy XIV’s All Saints’ Wake Rewards Give Off Emo-Punk Vibes
The 4 Day Free Login Campaign returns today, too!
Once again it’s time to visit Gridania for a bit of spooky fun. The All Saints’ Wake event is returning to Final Fantasy XIV on October 18, offering players a bit of Halloween adventure time and new goodies.
As ever, the event starts in Old Gridania at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre. Players level 15 and higher can begin by talking to the Pumpkin-headed Apparition.
Since the XIV team doesn’t like to spoil story, we can’t really say what the MMORPG's event will be about other than something spooky – and that it apparently involves an emo-punk demon(?) voidsent(?). Since the event art shows everyone’s favorite voidsent dressed up as a clown lurking in the background, let’s go with the latter. They probably know each other and there’s probably “history”. Probably not the good kind. Clown looks annoyed. Also… Why is that little ghost so sad?
Of course, a big reason for doing these events – other than for the vibes – is for the goodies. This year we’ll be getting a new outfit – the ones seen on the character in the image above – including the horns – and a flying pumpkin housing decoration. The good news is that the latter is an indoor housing decoration, which means you don’t need a house to use it. An apartment or Free Company room will suffice.
Starting today, FFXIV is running a new 4 day Free Login Campaign, too. If you want to hop back into the game after being inactive for at least a month, head on in!
