Final Fantasy 6.28 Update Drops Nerfs And Buffs For Several Classes...And Yes, A New NA Data Center
The new North American servers are live.
This morning, Square Enix dropped the 6.28 patch for Final Fantasy XIV. This update added the long-awaited new North American data center and its associated worlds – making more room for players looking to join the game for the first time, get a fresh start, or perhaps just move to in hopes of getting the house that’s not available in an already crowded market.
In addition to the new data center, the update also kicked off Season 4 four of Crystalline Conflict. That means that players who finished bronze or higher can now pick up their rewards by speaking to the Feast Quartermaster at the Wolve’s Den.
The rest of the update pretty much consists of nerfs and buffs for multiple classes in both PvP and PvE. Although, more classes got the love – or hate, depending on how you feel about it – in PvP. Some of y’all are gonna be happy to know that the White Mage’s range isn’t as long as it used to be, while some of you are going to be pretty upset to know that the White Mage’s range isn’t as long as it used to be. Summoner got buffs…I’m sure everyone who doesn’t play Summoner is going to enjoy that.
PvE-side, Warrior, Reaper, Bard, Machinist, Black Mage, Arcanist, Red Mage, and Sage all got love. All those classes were on the receiving end of potency increases for several abilities, so there’s good news for fans of those jobs.
