Fight The Winter Warrior In New World's Winter Convergence Event Beginning December 12th
Fighting in a winter wonderland.
The Winter Convergence event is returning to New World from December 12th through January 9th. During that time you can visit Winter Villages to get gifts and fight the Winter Warrior to defend Aeternum.
To cut down on the number of Winter Villages you have to visit in the MMORPG during the Winter Convergence event, each Gift Pile will now give 4 presents (previously 1), but players may only visit 3 Trees of Light per day. Gift Piles will also include 2 White Gypsum and 1 random holiday food. Gift Sacks will now provide 3 presents (previously 1) and can interact with 1 Gift Sack per day.
The Winter Warrior and his glacial minions are back in New World during this event. A group of 20 or more can take on this open-world boss in Great Cleave, Brightwood, Edengrove, Ebonscale Reach, and Brimstone Sands to earn limited-time rewards. The Winter Warrior will now also drop 15 Dark Matter 3 times daily.
Gleamite meteors will now drop more often, providing materials and a visual spectacle.
The event shop has also been updated with plenty of rewards like Azoth Inductors, Chromatic Seals, and Pristine Gleamite, as well as a new Snowball Flail weapon skin. You can see the full list of vendor items over on the official New World site.
