Fight The Spooky Cube Monsters In Fortnite's Halloween-Themed Event
Fortnite is joining in on the Halloween fun with its Fortnitemares event. The event is available to both Battle Royale and Save the World players.
In Fortnite Battle Royale, players will be fighting off terrifying Cube Monsters that are being spawned in Cube Fragments located around the map. The good news is there are new weapons available to fight them with, including a new Six Shooter and a Fiend Hunter Crossbow. Of course, the Cube Monsters and Fragments drop loot, so players will want to take out as many of them as possible.
Battle Royale players will also have all new challenges to complete. Completing the final set will earn them a reward of the Dark Engine Glider. And, of course, there's a new outfit available in the shop.
The "Deadfire" outfit features in-match progression and has two styles based on the damage dealt to enemies and how long the player lasts in a match.
In Save the World, Hexsylvania has returned. Players can take part in multiple story quests and earn new rewards, including a new weapon set, and spooky Llamas.
