Fight Skynet Across Two World Of Tanks Games As Terminator 2 Collaboration Kicks Off
The Terminator 2 crossover begins today.
Quite possibly, the only thing scarier than a tank coming at you is a Terminator. There’s just something about a human-looking creature that is nearly impossible to kill trying to track you down and take you out. Why not combine two scary deadly things with a special crossover in World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz?
That’s what’s happening beginning today. Between now and January 26, players of both games can take part in special events based on the iconic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The event in World of Tanks features a Battle Pass Special (also titled Judgment Day), filled with items inspired by the movie. This includes decals, 2D-style camouflages, four vehicle commanders from the film’s universe, and a special T-832 tank.
The T-832 comes from the fires of the smelter where the T-800 and T-1000 were destroyed and features special visual effects. As for the commanders, fans of the Terminator movies will recognize them all, as they consist of the T-800 and T-1000 as well as Sara and John Connor.
Players in World of Tanks Blitz will be able to take part in a different event that kicks off today and will end on January 31. This event is also a battle pass-style event and consists of 60 stages. Completing each stage will earn players rewards. The events in both games also feature a customized soundtrack.
