Fallout Worlds Is Now Available In 76
Play in customized worlds with special features.
Fallout Worlds, the long-awaited mode (Well…modes.) for Bethesda’s Fallout 76 is finally live. This new feature consists of the Custom Worlds mode and the Public Worlds mode. The first is available to Fallout 1st members only and allows them to invite seven of their friends into their own world and make use of a series of gameplay settings impacting everything from combat rules and C.A.M.P. restrictions to weather effects. This includes proximity spawners, gravity settings, and the all-important unlimited ammunition.
Public Worlds are created by the Bethesda team and are available to everyone for free. They’re kind of a buffet where players can sample the various things that can be done in Custom Worlds. Since they’re effectively a sampler, these worlds will be available on a rotating basis. The downside is that if you find one you really like, it won’t be around permanently. Obviously, the point is to encourage you to pony up for Fallout 1st so you can make whatever you want anyway and they can make money.
