Fallout Celebrates 25 Years All Month Long So Fallout 76 Is Free This Week Starting Today
This celebration will span the entire month of October.
Have you ever had one of those friends who celebrate their birthday month, not their birthday? Well, Fallout is one of those ‘people’, as their celebration will span the entire month of October. Players can visit Fallout’s site every week in October to learn what's in store for that week’s festivities. There will be sales, giveaways, special features, community contents, and more--all dedicated to the franchise's start in October of 1997.
Players will be able to play Fallout 76 during the game’s Free Play Week, starting October 4 to October 11. In addition, until November 1, players with active Prime Gaming subscriptions can pick up the base Fallout 76 game for free for PC/Windows Store via Prime Gaming Rewards.
Is that all? Of course that’s not all. Players with an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will be able to enjoy a free month of Fallout 1st, available via Xbox Game Pass Perks until October 24.
Lastly, new content will be added to Fallout Shelter for the first time in over four years. Players can take on an alien threat in an all-new quest line featuring new enemies, take up arms with new weapons, recruit new Dwellers and decorate their Vault with a new celebration room theme.
Happy birthday month, Fallout!
