Fans of parkour games received a bit of bad news this week when Makea Games announced that the studio would be closing. This meant that parkour game Supermoves wouldn't be able to guarantee any future updates or the maintaining of its online services. Offline modes should be fine, but the rest is still up in the air.

However, if you still want to run around a virtual world like you have crazy skills you don't have in real life, there may be an alternative coming your way soon. This one will also be a F2P game.

Ninja Party, a bit of a silly name but maybe one that fits the game's tone, is an upcoming "parkour party royale" from Nekki. While a full release doesn't have a date yet, the game will feature cross play with PC, mobile devices, and Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles. Sporting a colorful aesthetic, Ninja Party sees 12 players enter an arena that provides plenty of surfaces, ledges, glide points, and gaps for players to navigate with all the cool parkour moves you see in the movies. However, you'll also be fighting for your life using a slew of weapons.

Think of it as kind of a "Ninja Warrior" competition, except you let all the contestants onto the course at the same time and they're allowed to beat each other to a pulp along the way.

Squads of two or three will be able to queue together, and you'll earn plenty of cosmetics along the way for succeeding at various challenges.

An open test is coming later this year, and you can sign up now on the official Steam page if you think you have what it takes to complete each race.
