Eye Spy: New Skyforge Details shed light on Divine Observatory
In the upcoming Sci-fi fantasy MMORPG Skyforge you, an immortal player destined for godhood, are tasked with defending the denizens of the planet Aelion. Unlike other gods who may hear the pleas of mortals innately, it appears you will be using technology in Skyforge in order to scour the planet and alert you of anyone in need of aid.
Dubbed the Divine Observatory, this structure in Skyforge high in the sky acts as a your base of operations. In the center lies a globe providing you access to a global surveillance network where players will find an abundance of solo and group PvE and PvP content to explore. Through the Observatory players can queue up for over 40 adventures, five varieties of PvP and 10 massive open world zones.
When players first begin their life as an immortal they'll only be able to access a few of these adventures at a time. The Divine Observatory automatically updates every 40 minutes to show off any new "hot spots" with events players might be interested in checking out. As players progress a rating called Prestige will increase, granting them access to new adventures.
Prestige is calculated by which classes you've unlocked (Skyforge features a swappable class system), new abilities you've earned, equipment upgrades and so on. Unlocking these aspects of your characters progression comes through the use of several resources which like adventures, will gradually expand to include new resource types as your prestige grows.
While beta is still a ways off for North American audiences, players can still begin signing up up for beta access on the official site now.
