Explore the Great Prairie Of The West In ArcheAge’s Next Update, Pre-Registration Rewards Up Now
The new update also introduces a new competition focused on summoning Guardians.
On June 23, XLGames and Kakao Games will drop a shiny new update for ArcheAge. The update will introduce new content to the game, including a whole new region – the Great Prairie of the West. This new region can be found on the southeastern side of the Hiram Mountains. It’s a temperate area filled with plenty of wild animals. This region also used to be the home of the nomadic Firran, who dream to one day return.
Also included in the update is a new competition, the Guardian Scramble. In this competition, factions will summon guardians to the Great Prairie of the West. Once summoned, these guardians can be “grown” into a higher form via offerings. Specifically, the factions will offer Traces of a Wish to their Guardian Totem.
The Guardian Scramble is held every Wednesday and Saturday. During this time, each faction can summon one of the six guardians before engaging in a battle over the bases located in the Great Prairie of the West. The battle begins with placing archers around the bases, which will also serve as spawn points for related mission NPCs.
To upgrade guardians, players will need to move the guardian to the “Yearning Altar” which produces Traces of a Wish by crystalizing the blood and yearnings of the Firran warriors who fought there long ago. They must also maintain control of the altar in order to accumulate faction points.
