Finally, Castle Kandar Comes To Evil Dead: The Game In The Latest “Army Of Darkness” Update
The update is available today on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
Today, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games released the “Army of Darkness” content update for Evil Dead: The Game on PC, PlayStations 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. For fans of the movies, this is excellent news, as it introduces Castle Kandar as a new map. It also adds two new weapons, new premium cosmetics (for those of you with spare cash lying around), and a new single-player Exploration mode (for the anti-social among us). The map, weapons, and mode are all free to everyone who owns the game.
As mentioned, fans of the Evil Dead movies should be pretty excited about this update due to the new map. It’s filled with locations from the movie – not just the castle but also, the Arthurian Outpost, Fort Gort, and the iconic Windmill. As for the weapons, they include a Mace for those who are more concerned about causing damage than being fast and an explosive crossbow. We’re sure you’ll know what to do with that.
On the fashion side of things, several new costumes are in the store. Players can get their hands on Ash Williams’s S-Mart Employee uniform, and his Gallant Knight Outfit – both for $3 each. There’s also a Medieval Bundle, with new outfits for Lord Arthur, Henry the Red, a Gilded Attire for the Necromancer Demon Army (including Evil Ash), and a Screamer jump scare image for the Necromancer Demon. The entire pack runs $8.
