Exoborne Unveils Its First Gameplay Trailer For The Upcoming Tactical Extraction Shooter
I'm kind of digging the new video, now let's see where it goes from here.
Look, we've still got a decent amount of time before we really get our hands on Exoborne, the open-world tactical extraction shooter from Level Infinite and Sharkmob. That doesn't mean we can't be a little excited by what we see in the game's first gameplay reveal trailer, though.
Ok, I'll grant you, the clip is limited. However, knowing that the footage is only considered "alpha" and captured in-engine does make me hopeful for this title. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic US, nature and humans have all basically lost their collective damn minds. If it isn't another player trying to grab your loot out from under you with a headshot, the weather may just try to kill you, too.
Exoborne is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 for PC and consoles that will have a box price, feature story content, live service elements, and content updates post-launch.
Exoborne's got a little "anthem" kind of look to it, in my opinion. In a good way, though. I'm not usually one for extraction shooters and the whole "get materials, escape, craft, do it again" loop, but I can't help but be drawn to the aesthetic of Exoborne.
Testing is coming soon and you can make sure you're signed up on the official site if you'd like to try and get in on it.
