Eville PC Xbox October

Indie developer VestGames depicts Eville as a "social deduction game in the vein of Werewolves of Miller's Hollow," expanding in depth never seen before in the genre. The title has built a community across a few betas in recent memory and will soon be available on PC and Xbox platforms on October 11. Specifically, Eville will come to Windows, Steam, The Humble Store, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Interested players will find themselves in the middle of the once peaceful village of Eville, where things going awry is the best part of multiplayer for these types of games: deceiving your neighbors or rooting out the bad guys. In the vein of the Town of Salem, players will be assigned roles randomly with unique abilities, skills, and advantages to commit an evil deed or stave off adversaries.

Eville goes further with this formula by giving players actual jobs. Completing quests aligned with a player's responsibilities during the day cycle earns them copper to spend on items and upgrades. This helps the good guys survive the nighttime and assists bad players with carrying out their murderous plans while everyone sleeps in bed. Eville's innovative day-and-night cycle, specialized character roles, and usage of items present a more proactive twist on the genre and hopefully attract attention on PC and Xbox platforms next month.
