Everything You Need To Know About Transmog In New World
It's almost time to play fashion wars in New World.
Transmog is coming to New World. That news alone is enough to get many of us excited, but the system seems like it will be pretty fair for an MMORPG with no subscription.
Once Transomog goes live in New World, everything in your inventory and storage will go into a sticker book. From there you can visit a style manager next to an outfitting station in any major city. The style manager allows you to unlock the items in your sticker book to be used as skins in the game. You'll need to use a transmog token to unlock each item. Transmog tokens can be found as a drop in Elite Chests, in the free and paid battle pass, and in the cash shop. Each item you unlock appears to cost 1 transmog token.
It gets even better though for those of us who like to play dress-up. All armor styles can now be dyed, meaning you can now use any appearance you like mixed with any color scheme you like to create that perfect look.
You can watch the full episode of "New World Forged in Aeternum" below to hear the dev team talk about transmog. They also tease at the end of the video that the next episode will be about removing wards and banes. That'll make a lot of players happy.
