EverQuest II's Expansion 17 Adding New Race For 1st Time In 5 Years
In just a week, Daybreak will be kicking off the beta period for EverQuest II's next expansion, Reign of Shadows. The game's 17th expansion takes players to the dark side of Luclin where Emperor Ssraeshza and his army have taken hold of the citadel of Vex Thal.
The update adds the game's first new player race in 5 years, the Vah Shir. In addition, the maximum guild level has been increased to 350 and new ways for guilds to level have been implemented and all new quests and raid content have been added.
As we draw closer to the expansion's release date, Daybreak will provide players with more information on what to expect. Of course, if you take part in the beta next week, you'll know all about it anyway. As for launch, no date has been provided, but preorders are set to take place on November 10 between 10AM and Noon pacific time.
