EverQuest II's Creative Director Addresses Player Concerns In Latest Kander's Candor Podcast
In the third episode of a podcast titled Kander's Candor, EverQuest II's Creative Director Kyle "Kander" Vallee addressed different aspects of the game, including player concerns. Among the topics addressed in the 22-minute cast are some of the changes included in Expansion 17 -- like a complete revamp of AAs, the implementation of tradeskill recipes, a new season of Overseer, and more.
Vallee also discusses community issues. He addresses the fact that players feel the developers don't care, noting that the team simply struggled with the last expansion but they're actually two months ahead on this year's expansion (compared to the last one). He also discussed the implementation of a Community Resource Council that will be filled by players representing all playstyles and be able to offer feedback on what the team is working on.
There's a good bit more addressed in the cast as well. Those interested in more than just highlights can listen to the whole thing on the EQII site. Notes and discussion about the cast are currently taking place on Reddit.
