Eve Online "Prospector's Path" Update Makes Important Changes To Mining
It also includes quality of life adjustments, events, and more.
CCP Games is still busy working on making things more welcoming to new Eve Online Players and just better for players in general. Today, the company dropped the "Prospector's Path" update, which includes more additions to the new player experience, brings back the Mining Blitz event, and makes a whole bunch of changes to the in-game industry. There have also been some changes to small-scale warfare. Everyone loves buffs, right?
The big focus of this update is industry – more specifically, the mining portion. With the drop of Prospector's Path, several areas of resource compression have been addressed. This includes adding in-space compression, remote compression, and the compression of gas.
Continuing with the mining theme, the Mining Blitz event is back and available until March 16. Use this time to gather unique resources from mining expedition event sites and deliver them to an NPC Orca. Just watch out for possible attackers while doing the mining. Completing a mining site efficiently will earn you ISK and loyalty points, the latter of which can be exchanged for exclusive SKINs and other items. The event also includes daily challenges and daily login rewards.
