Eternal Return is running a full-on esports scene, and with that comes lots of exciting action. Season 3 of the Challengers Series is getting ready to kick off, so developer Nimble Neuron has released the info on what to expect and how to register your team for the event.
North American players can register for the Eternal Return Challengers Series from March 20th through the 26th, and circuit brackets will be announced shortly after registration closes. A total of 16 teams will be battling it out in 4 blocks. Each week two of those blocks will be merged to form two 8-team squad lobbies that will go head-to-head in 4 games. Team points will be allocated based on performance. The top team from each block will score a pass to the Grand Finals, while the teams in second and third place will have another shot in the Wild Card rounds.
The Grand Finals are scheduled to take place on April 21st and teams will be battling for their share of a $1,000 prize pool and in-game currency.
