Eternal Return MOBA Responds To Ranked System Feedback And Looks To Make Improvements
Season 1 is underway, but more changes are on the way.
Eternal Return Season 1 is underway, and during the short time it's been running there has already been a ton of feedback from players regarding what could have been done better and what needs to be improved going forward in the MOBA.
For starters, the soft reset going into Eternal Return Season 1 did not go quite as planned. There was a "major disruption" in the reset of Platinum and higher tiers, causing higher tier players to start lower than usual, which of course caused headaches for the higher tier players and the lower tier players who had to play against them.
Eternal Return says that they are having a bit of an issue where premade teams have a clear advantage. They are looking to address this in two ways: First, they are putting premade teams into their own queue to prioritize playing other premade teams, while non-premade teams will do the same. A premade and non-premade team will only meet if the queue time meets an undisclosed time limit. Secondly, they are turning the in-game voice chat on by default with push-to-talk enabled to give non-premade teams a chance to communicate better.
While we're on the topic of Eternal Return, I should also mention that there's a new skin coming out on August 17th. It is Magic Spell Chiara, Grade: Rare, and will be available in the ER Pass at level 80. If you've already reached level 80 you'll get the skin after maintenance on the 17th. Check her out in the skin spotlight below.
