ESO's "Heroes Of High Isle" Event Sends Players Across The Systres, Introduces Dailies And More For Rewards
Players in High Isle will have their hands full soon.
Zenimax will kick off the "Heroes of High Isle" in-game event on September 29 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time for The Elder Scrolls Online, debuting a collection of activities players can do for a boatload of rewards. The event will run until October 11 which is under two weeks, so grab what you can before it ends!
The headline activity for the Heroes of High Isle encourages players to band together or go solo and visit six unique locales in High Isle to earn the Pathfinder achievement. The catch is that the devs won't say where players should be going. Everyone will need to pay attention to their Achievements menu to gain hints. Completing the Pathfinder achievement will contribute to a community meter that unlocks rewards depending on how much it fills up. And don't worry, if you have the achievement already, Zenimax will immediately add those players to the meter on launch day.
As for the rewards, the community reaching 33% of the meter unlocks Oak's Promise markings while 100% contains an Ascendant Hoard Box, Appleback Salamander pet (ESO Plus members only), and a bonus mystery reward presented during the Legacy of the Bretons Autumn Event Stream. The goal for everyone should definitely be 100% since, at the end of the event, Zenimax will add all the rewards to the Crown Store as a free bundle. Especially with the Ascendant Hoard Box dropping High Isle item sets, high-level companion gear, and other goodies.
Players can continue the Heroes of High Isle event by picking up "The Island Tour" quest from the Crown Store or Impresario tent. It sparks a collection of dailies during the event period that offers double the number of the usual non-event reward boxes. Additionally, a zone's harvest node yields are higher, and all world, public, trial, and delve bosses throughout High Isle drop additional rewards.
The first time players complete these daily quests in High Isle, they will receive a Society of the Steadfast's Largesse Coffer for the trouble. The reward box may contain items like crafting materials, High Isle furnishings, a tradeable page of the new Oaken Order armor style, and more.
You could also obtain the box by doing the Dreadsail Reef trial weekly quest. After the first completion, players will earn the Society of the Steadfast's Munificence Coffers that contain similar items but a smaller chance for rarer rewards.
Lastly, while the Heroes of High Isle event is active, players will gain two event tickets per day after finishing a High Isle zone daily quest. At the Impresario event merchant, these are exchangeable for items, such as fragments of the Daggerfall Paladin outfit and Ebon-Glow Indrik pet.
