Epic Pulls Controversial Guided Missile Launcher From Fortnite: Battle Royale
"Nuked from orbit" is not how most people want their runs in a battle royale game to end. Nevertheless, that's essentially how a lot of people have met their ends in Fortnite: Battle Royale -- on the wrong side of a guided missile launched from afar. It's fun when you do it to the other guy, but not so fun when it happens to you, and so Epic Games is putting the launcher "into the vault" while it ponders what to do with it next.
Yesterday's Reddit post covers peeking and weapon swapping, in addition to the guided missile news. The peeking bug resulted in players accidentally shooting their own structures, which will be patched out in 3.5.2, while weapon swaps will also be getting tweaks to improve times and animations.
