Epic Games Kicks Off 14 Days Of Fortnite
Epic Games is celebrating a year of Fortnite with a special 14 Days of Fortnite event -- both in Battle Royale and Save the World.
In Battle Royale, the holidays have arrived, complete with a Snowball launcher and a holiday-lit Legendary Bush to hide in. There's also a new challenge and new daily rewards. And, of course, players can hit up the shop for new outfits and other goodies.
Save the World is getting specially themed enemies and a winter map. Players can also take part in new holiday quests in order to earn snowflake tickets they can use in the store. There's also free Upgrade Llama pinatas available in the store every day of the event and a Smorgasbord Llama to pick up around December 25.
It should be noted that the new update has some hiccups -- particularly for Save the World, which had to be taken offline while Epic investigates issues with both Stormshield Storage and the Frostnite mode. The last update on the game's status was about an hour ago.
We're getting closer to resolving the Stormshield Storage and Frostnite Issues. We'll update you on the progress of the fix as soon as it's complete. Thank you for your patience!
