Enlisted Tests New Destruction Game Mode
Plant mines or stop the other team from planting theirs.
A significant part of every map in Enlisted -- walls, windows, fences, and even some buildings -- is destructible. While it can be fun, and even tactically useful, wanton destruction isn't the objective in the game -- but a new mode introduced today makes blowing things up the primary goal.
Destruction mode does away with capture points as players know them. Instead, the objective is for the attacking team to plant mines (granted to all soldiers) and protect them until they go off. The defenders, naturally, will try and do away with the mines and anyone trying to place them. If the attacking team is successful, it will move on to the next target and repeat the process until all objectives have been destroyed or the timer runs out.
The first map for the new mode is Al Har and Al Jabal Farm, which features a number of radio stations that the attackers are trying to destroy. Darkflow Software warns that the mode "may be temporarily turned off for finalization" at times during the test.
